Pingelly Community Wellbeing Plan
For the second half of last year, a group of community stakeholders came together to develop an Alcohol and Other Drug Community Management Plan with the aim of working together to find ways to bring positive change to our community in relation to Alcohol and Other Drugs. This plan was developed with the guidance of Eloise Fewster of Holyoake and support from the Mental Health Commission. During the process of developing the plan, the group identified the possibility of combining the plan with a Pingelly Community Suicide Prevention Plan. Work began to knit the two plans together, and the end result is a living document called the “Pingelly Community Wellbeing Plan”, accompanied by a Communications Plan and Terms of Reference for the plan.
The initial focus of the plan will be around raising awareness about Alcohol and Other Drugs and Mental Health/Suicide Awareness, and about promoting the adoption of Good Sports by our local sporing groups.
